Projects database

COFASP has a work package with the task of collecting and analysing projects on aquaculture, fisheries and seafood processing funded at European/national level and active in the time period 2003-2013.

COFASP Foresight study

The COFASP foresight study was implemented between September 2013 and June 2014 by the European Fisheries and Aquaculture Research Organisation (EFARO). The aim of the study was to develop a research agenda defining the research required in the medium term (15 years) to enable a sustainable exploitation and farming and retailing of aquatic resources.

A large group of stakeholders was involved in this process. In three workshops we looked at how the factors might develop in the future and what research is needed to support these developments.

The COFASP case studies

The objective of the case studies is to promote the emergence of joint research programs in fisheries, aquaculture and seafood science between European countries by focusing on specific case studies

The aim is to implement specific regional case studies as test cases in fisheries, aquaculture and seafood.
